Big Eddy Lodge is on the original territory of the Carriere Family for over 130 years. Located on the Saskatchewan River, 55km upstream from Cumberland House, SK. it is at the heart of the Saskatchewan River Delta. Owner/operators Solomon and Renee Carriere live at Big Eddy Lodge year-round and it is where they raised their family. Cree knowledge of the land and history of the Carriere family are Big Eddy Lodge. This rich ecosystem is home to Moose, Ducks, Geese, Whitetail Deer, Black Bear, wolves, lynx, countless boreal animals, edible plants and northern lights.

At Big Eddy Lodge you can book an experience of a lifetime in hunting or fishing. We are a secluded Lodge with access only by boat, canoe, snowmobile, or snow shoe only. Enjoy our rustic cabins as your accommodations, along with a sauna to round off the perfect hunting adventure day. At Big Eddy Lodge our motto is “Everyday is an Adventure!”
